A non government organization NGO that works for betterment of Patients by providing facilites of blood transfusion and medical aid.

 

It was established in 1960 by Mr. Mahendra Mashru with the help of a few friends. Today it has grown like a banyan trees and it has 12 to 15 thousand donars. Every year average 10000 unit blood gets distributed to public free of charge. We organizes blood donations awareness camps as well as blood donations camps at various places through out the year. This year we have been awarded with Red Croos trophy for highest activity of blood donation activity.

 

We transfuse regular blood packages to thalesmia major patients who are the innocent children suffring for no fault on their part. Therefore we are running Thalesemia test camp in colleges for bringing about awareness in youth about this deadly disease.

 

We also undertake social service at the time of natural calamities like Earth quake(2001), Floods(1978,1983), Draught, Storm, Cyclone, Landsliding. Tsunami etc.

 

Since last 31 years, we provide free medical treatments to all the participants of Girnar Climbing Competition.

 

We are also undertakng other social activites like Cattle camp, AIDS awareness camp etc.
